THE DEBT ANALYZER (WINDOWS) HOPELESSLY IN DEBT? Need a systematic way to rid yourself of it? The Debt Analyzer is the answer! Now the techniques used by banks and credit counselors can be used in the comfort of your own home. You can produce debt elimination and loan consolidation schedules which can illustrate hundreds of dollars in potential savings. How does debt elimination work? Each of your debts is given a priority. Each month, your payments are made to each debt. Once one debt is paid off,then that payment is then applied to the highest priority debt. This accelerates the payment on the highest priority debt. The loan acceleration is what produces the interest savings. Several options are available which can help accelerate and optimize your debt elimination schedule. These include "using minimum payments", applying "extra payments" and selecting one of nine predefined "priority methods". The loan consolidation schedule is designed to take all your current debt information and combine it into a single new loan. How does it work? Loan consolidation assumes that the new loan has an overall lower interest rate than your existing debts. This results in lower overall payments and less interest paid. The Debt Analyzer allows you to create loan consolidation schedules and will determine the amount of money you can save by doing so. A variety of options are available to tailor the loan consolidation to your specific needs. These include the ability to specify the term or payment of the consolidated loan or the sum of all debt payments may be used as the consolidated loan payment. THE MORTGAGE ANALYZER (DOS) This is NOT an ORDINARY mortgage program. It includes seven predefined loan acceleration methods such as bi-weekly, double principal and growing equity payments plus the ability to set up *ANY* acceleration method con- ceivable through variable extra payments. Accelerated schedules and/or summaries can be produced side by side with the original mortgage or by themselves. Features mortgage comparisons--enter all values for two complete mortgages. Print, view or save to file complete schedules and/or summaries for both side by side. The mortgage input screen contains Loan Type (Conventional, FHA, VA), Purchase Price, Down Payment, Duration, Interest Rate, Interest Type (Fixed, Stepped, Adjustable, Reset), Closing Date, First Payment Date, Points, Property Tax, Homeowners Insurance, Mortgage Insurance and closing costs. It calculates payments, points, mortgage insurance, tax savings, daily interest, interest paid, interest saved (for acceleration) and complete schedules. Other features include Qualification Analysis reports for conventional, FHA and VA loans. Also available is Buy vs Rent, Lease vs Sell, Tax Savings and Refinance analysis. Includes solve for missing loan value calculator, loan refinancing, daily interest, FHA down payment and points calculators. Save and restore multiple clients. THE MORTGAGE ANALYZER PROFESSIONAL (DOS) It adds the ability to maintain 15 customizable loan plans and to customize the loan qualification ratios and to customize mortgage insurance defaults for Conventional, FHA and VA loans. You can create HUD-1 good faith closing estimates using over 35 closing fees plus 2 user defined fees. The ability to compare 3 loans at once is also available. Supports optional footnotes and "date of printout" on reports. THE ANNUITY ACE (Professional) (DOS) Now project your savings as never before! The Annuity Ace is a financial software program designed with ease and flexibility in mind. It comes complete with a variety of financial tools for calculating Deferred, Immediate and Split Annuities. It also contains Calculators for solving for missing values. The Deferred Annuity tool allows variable deposit modes, deposits, withdrawals, interest rates and compounding methods with or without loads. Professional reports can be generated with varying detail. Special options are available to illustrate the time value of compounding, the impact of taxes on savings, the effect of loads, the effect of inflation, the effect of obtaining higher interest rate, and the ability to illustrate what is required to accumulate a target sum of money by a target age. The Immediate Annuity tool allows variable payout modes and compounding methods. Professional schedules are produced. A Split Annuity option is available that produces both a professional schedule and chart. Illustrations can be viewed on the screen or sent to a printer or a file. Headers, Footers and Client Name can be included in the illustrations. Multiple Client information can be saved and retrieved. THE LOAN CHIEF (Professional) (DOS) Loan calculating has never been this easy! Loan Chief is a financial software program designed with ease and flexibility in mind. It comes complete with a variety of loan tools for calculating Loan Amortization Schedules, Loan Charts and Loan Calculators for solving for missing values. Each financial tool contains a variety of options to allow maximum flexibility. The Loan Amortization tool allows variable payments, interest rates and compounding methods. Professional schedules can be generated with monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual detail. Special options are available to illustrate the savings incurred with an early payoff of a loan. Several predefined acceleration methods are available in addition to a variable payment which allows optimum flexibility. Accelerated schedules can be illustrated side by side with the original schedule. Another special option is the ability to show tax savings with mortgages. The Loan Chart tool produces a chart of loan values based on the criteria you select. You select the type of loan values you want computed--it may be loan payments, loan principal amounts, months in a loan or the interest rate. Once you choose what you want to solve for, you enter one of the remaining loan values as a constant and the other two as a range of values. A chart is produced solving for all loan values specified in the ranges. Headers, Footers and Client Name can be included in the schedules and reports. Multiple Client information can be saved and retrieved. ALL SmartTracker Programs (Windows) Each program contains a scrollable Viewer similar in appearance to a spreadsheet layout which lists the database elements. The viewer will grow and shrink with the size of the window. CONFIGURE the Viewer to your personal preference. Select only those database elements that you plan on using or that you want to see to appear in the viewer. Specify the order in which they appear and specify the space to allocate to each element. Advanced search options places items matching search criteria into the Viewer. Ascii delimited import/export operations are available with complete configurability on which items and in which order to import or export. Limit exports to only those items found in a search. Configure the colors for all elements of the windows for all windows or for specific windows. DESIGN your own reports! Add as many report layouts as you like. Select either a 90 column report for large legible reports or a 120 column report to pack as much information on the page as possible. Each database element can be spread out over a maximum of 12 lines. Place labels, blanks and database items where you want them to be. Allocate the desired space for the labels, blanks and database items. Optionally add up to 3 header lines to appear on each page. Optionally place totals which will appear after each report group and at the end of the report. Optionally place page numbers on each page. For one line reports (columns of data), optionally choose to have automatic column headers placed on the report. Choose from among any True Type font that is on your system. View reports on screen or send to printer or ascii file. Print one page or entire report. SmartTracker VIDEOS (Windows) Track, Organize and Catalog your Video collection. Windows Word Search Rampage The Multi-Media ready Windows Word Search Rampage comes complete with over 300 puzzles that can be played right on the computer or can be printed out for activities, parties, friends or family. Each puzzle has its own name and falls under one of several categories. Playing a puzzle is easy and fun. Simply double click on the puzzle of your choice from a list box and the puzzle appears along with a list of words to be found in the puzzle. Once a word is spotted, click on the first letter of the word and hold the mouse button down. As you drag the mouse a line appears showing your movement. Drag the mouse to the ending letter of the word and release the mouse button. Behold, the word in the puzzle is highlighted, one of several congratulatory audio remarks will be heard, and the word in the list will be marked as found. Playing at work? No problem. You may optionally turn the sound off. Sure that the word is not in the puzzle? Well, you can activate the hint mode. Other options include the ability to time yourself as you play the puzzle, use upper or lower case letters, place a grid around the puzzle for better clarity, leave used letters in the puzzle highlighted and to place background bitmaps on the playing screen. You may create, edit and delete your own puzzles. Simply enter a topic, title, list of words and dimensions and push a button. Presto, the puzzle is created and you now have the option of saving it to disk where it will appear with the other puzzles in the list box. You may also vary the complexity level of the created puzzle. An option to to create puzzles with no diagonal words, less diagonals, average diagonals and more diagonals is also available. Printing options include upper or lower case letters, optional grid and full page printing or half page printing (left side, top page, 2 side by side, 2 up and down). Crossword Construction Kit (Windows) The Crossword Construction Kit features the unique ability to create puzzles in fun shapes. It includes over 25 predefined puzzle shapes (diamonds, donuts, trains, etc) and includes the ability to create unlimited new shapes. Teachers, students, publishers and puzzle fans will be able to put more flare and pizzazz into their puzzles. The Kit can create puzzles up to 30 x 30 in size. Simply select a shape, enter your words and clues, enter a title and click on the "Create Puzzle" button. Words and clues can be imported from a text file. A variety of print options are available including printing answer keys, selecting fonts for clues and answers, selecting gray or black filled boxes and viewing the puzzle before printing. Word Search Construction Kit (Windows) The Word Search Construction Kit features the unique ability to create puzzles in fun shapes. SmartDoc (Windows) This simple utility allows you take a Windows Help File and either extract all the text from it into a plain-text file, or print the whole thing including graphics. Either way, armed with a binding strip you can make yourself some nice manuals! SmartSum (Windows) SmartSum is a Windows based emulation of the traditional printing calculator / adding machine found in so many business environments all the way from the multi-national to the small office / home office. Anyone with a requirement to add up a sequence of figures, such as Visa slips or daily takings will instantly know how valuable a tally-roll with the ability to check back can be. However the Window's environment has also allowed us to add some very nice features that the traditional printing calculator simply cannot do. For example, you can go back and correct an entry that you keyed in wrongly, insert an additional item that you missed out, or delete an item you accidentally entered twice, none of which are possible with the traditional item. And SmartSum can (optionally) say the digits as you enter them too so there is no need to look up to ensure correct keying. Calculations can be titled, and saved and reloaded later for review, and the sequence continued. It may be that with this ability the requirement to actually print the tally-roll at the time will no longer exist, but of course that is possible if required using any Window's supported font. Subtotals can be incorporated and removed at will, and there is the ability to "tick-off" each entry when checking work. As with the traditional machine there is the ability to select a particular number of decimal places of accuracy. However, with SmartSum if you change the decimal accuracy the whole sequence of calculations is repeated and rounded at the new precision. A "currency" mode is also available which assumes two decimal places and automatically inserts the decimal point at the correct place. "Tax" buttons makes the calculation of sales taxes simplicity itself. Given a Tax-Exclusive price you can calculate the Tax-Inclusive price, or vice-versa. A macro facility is provided which allows the recording of repetitive calculations, and a number of useful macros such as unit conversions are provided. There is an interface to Excel or any other spreadsheet, and clipboard support to allow copying of the tally roll to another application. The colors used by SmartSum are also configurable. There is a comprehensive Help File, and unlike the calculator applet supplied with Windows SmartSum can correctly calculate 2.01-2.0 ! SmartChecker (Windows) Windows Spreadsheet add-on that audibly "Reads Back" ranges of cells from a spreadSheet . (No sound card required). Supplied with an Excel Add-On that can incorporate it permanently in the Tools menu. Has "Pause & Resume" option, and can be made to work with pretty much any spreadsheet or any Windows application that has columns of figures. Ideal if you have columns of entries to check for accuracy.
